NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Derbyshire County Council on 09 January 2025 under Section 14 of The Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which was to close footpath No.40 from Macclesfield Old Road to Paxton Place, has been further continued.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: From the northern closure point on Macclesfield Old Road travel southwest. Turn left into Anncroft Road and travel south to meet footpath No.41. Follow footpath No.41 until it meets footpath No.39. Cross the road to meet footpath No.40 at the end of Paxton Place. Vice versa from the south.
The public footpath will be closed until 01 July 2027 or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner, to allow for public safety due to land slip.
