THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit vehicles on:

Bankside, Falkirk from 08:00 on 03/08/26 until 17:00 on 09/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Bankside, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Grahams Road in an easterly direction for approximately 100 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: B902, C80, A9, Mungalend, Bankside or vice versa.

Mungalend, Falkirk from 08:00 on 03/08/26 until 17:00 on 09/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Mungalend, Falkirk from a point adjacent to Bankside in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: Bankside, Abbots Road, A9, Mungelend or vice versa.

New Hallglen Road from 07:30 on 03/08/26 until 17:00 on 07/08/26. The prohibition is to allow carriageway repair works to be undertaken.
1. This Order temporarily closes: New Hallglen Road from Hallglen Roundabout to its junction with Morven Court
2. The alternative route is New Hallglen Road, Glenburn Road, New Hallglen Road Hallglen Roundabout and vice versa

Boxton Road (West), Falkirk from 08:00 until 17:00 on 06/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Telecommunications works to be undertaken.
1. This order temporarily closes Boxton Road (West), Falkirk from a point adjacent to Rigghead Cottage in a westerly direction for approximately 500 metres or thereby.
2. The alternative route is: C53, C45, B825, B8028, C53 or vice versa.

THE FALKIRK COUNCIL (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 2026
The Council has made the Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to temporarily prohibit waiting in:

Comely Place and Comely Park Gardens, Falkirk from 08:00 on 03/08/26 to 17.00 on 05/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for road sweeping and gully cleaning to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting from the junction with St Crispin’s Place to road end at Comely Park Gardens

Town House Street, Denny from 09:30 until 18:00 on 03/08/26. The prohibition is to allow for Ironworks repairs to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Town House Street, Denny from a point adjacent to Glasgow Road in an easterly direction on both sides for approximately 20 metres or thereby.

Muirhall Road, Larbert from 08:00 on 05/08/26 until 17:00 on 30/09/26. The prohibition is to allow for Utility works to be undertaken.
1. This order prohibits waiting on Muirhall Road, Larbert from a point adjacent to Pembroke Street in all directions on both sides for approximately 350 metres or thereby.
