Public Notices for Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders
The following public notices were served on Thursday 30th July 2026:
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WALNUT TREE ROUNDABOUT, WALNUT TREE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2446)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road whilst O2 undertake works to a telecoms mast:
3rd August 2026 – 31st March 2027
Walnut Tree Roundabout – between its northern and southern islands and its inner ring (preventing east to west travel and vice versa).
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Tongwell Street or Groveway.
The road closure will be in effect from 9th – 13th August 2026 between 8:00pm and 6:00am and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (MARSH DRIVE (PART), GREAT LINFORD) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2443)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Hutchinson 3G undertake works to a telecoms pole:
Marsh Drive, Great Linford – from Woad Lane to France Furlong
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via St Leger Drive, Monks Way, Brickhill Street and Wolverton Road (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 10th to 13th August 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (WINCHESTER CIRCLE (PART), KINGSTON) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2463)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake works:
Winchester Circle, Kingston – its northbound carriageway from the car park opposite to Mc Donalds to opposite the entrance to the petrol station.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Tongwell Street and Standing Way or Tongwell Street and Chippenham Drive.
The road closure will be in effect between 10th to 21st August 2026 from 7:00pm to 6:00am and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (REDWAY TMA04 (PART), TWO MILE ASH) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2440)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of redway whilst Aurora Utilities undertake works:
Redway TMA04, Two Mile Ash – from its junction with Redway TMA06 for 55 metres.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Redway TMA06 and Redway TMA01 (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect between 11th to 13th August 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Milton Keynes City Council on 28th July 2026, made the following Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders under Section 14(1) and 14(4) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, FOOTPATH WAVENDON 7 AND BRIDLEWAY WAVENDON BW6 AND REDWAY WV05, WAVENDON GATE) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2423)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following lengths of road, redway, footpath and bridleway whilst Milton Keynes City Council undertake utility works:
3rd August 2026 – 31st March 2027
Bletcham Way, Wavendon Gate – From Tongwell Street to Gregories Drive
Gregories Drive, Wavendon Gate – from Bletcham Way to Byrd Crescent
Britten Grove, Wavendon Gate – from Bletcham Way to Byrd Crescent
Byrd Crescent, Wavendon Gate – Its entire length.
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Tongwell Street and Britten Grove or Tongwell Street, Fyfield Barrow and Gregories Drive (and vice versa).
3rd August 2026 – 3rd February 2027
Footpath Wavendon 7 – Its entire length
Bridleway Wavendon BW6 – Its entire length
Redway WV05, Wavendon – from Ravel Close to Gregories Drive
The alternative routes will be signed in accordance with Chapter 8 of the TSRGD 2016.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCI (MULLEN AVENUE, DOWNS BARN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2457)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Openreach undertake ducting works:
Mullen Avenue, Downs Barn – from Clydesdale Place to Pellham Place
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Clydesdale Place, Downs Barn Boulevard and Pellham Place (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect from 3rd – 6th August 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
PUBLIC NOTICE:
MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (DELAWARE DRIVE (PART), TONGWELL) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2026 (Reference TTRO-2452)
The effect of the above Order will be to temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along the following length of road whilst Cornerstone Telecoms undertake works:
Delaware Drive, Tongwell – from Dansteed Way to the entrance to Volkswagen Financial Services
Whilst the above length of road is closed, the alternative route will be via Dansteed Way and Brickhill Street (and vice versa).
The road closure will be in effect on 5th August 2026 and will only be in force when indicated by the appropriate traffic signs.
