Notice is hereby given that Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this notice, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prevent any vehicle from proceeding in that length of carriageway specified in Schedule 1 OTHER THAN in the direction specified in Schedule 2.

Reason for Order: Resurfacing work.

A454 THE KEYWAY, WILLENHALL that is situated from its junction with B4464 Somerford Place to its junction with Armstrong Way.

 STONEHURST ROAD, PHEASEY that is situated from its junction with Moreton Avenue to its junction with Ivanhoe Road. (09:00 – 15:30) (Tuesday 18 August 2026 to Thursday 20 August 2026).

 HILLARY STREET, WALSALL that is situated from its junction with Wednesbury Road for its entire length. (08:00 – 17:00) (Friday 21 August 2026 to Thursday 27 August 2026).
Reason for Order: Carriageway resurfacing.
Works on behalf of: Walsall Council.

This ORDER will come into operation on Friday 7 August 2026. It is anticipated that the works will be completed as close as possible to the dates above. Signs will be erected on site indicating when the no stopping restriction will be in force and signed diversion routes (viewable on the website one.network) will be in operation for affected traffic. The Order will remain in force for a period of up to eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier.
