TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s): ORDER NO. MCC000 151616714 : The City of Manchester (Pottery Lane, Gorton & Abbey Hey Ward) (Temporary Closure of Cycle Lane) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit any pedal cycle (and any pedestrian) from proceeding at any time in the following length of cycle lane: Pottery Lane. From Ashton Old Road to Textile Street.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Installation of New Cables and Remedial Works. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 10th August 2026 to 1st September 2026.
The order shall come into operation on 10th August 2026and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.

ORDER NO. MCC 151594326: The City of Manchester (Lloyd Street North, Kippax Street, Monton Street, Maine Road, Hulme Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Lloyd Street North, Kippax Street, Monton Street, Maine Road The alternative routes for traffic will be: Signed Locally.
The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Replacement Gas Mains It is expected that the works will be in progress from 10th August 2026 to 11th September 2026.
The order shall come into operation on 10th August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
