Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Haringey proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and amend footway parking places under section 15 of the GLC General Powers Act 1974, and of all other powers.

The General Effects of the Orders would be:

(i) To remove Disabled Parking Bays outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey;

    • No.24 Woodside Avenue N6,

    • No.154 & No.142 & No.131 Risley Avenue N17,

    • No.94, No.100 & No.108 White Hart Lane N17,

    • No.99 Lausanne Road N8,

    • No.36 Nelson Road N8,

    • No.6 Solway Road N22,

    • No.70 Farrant Avenue N22,

    • No.22 Fryatt Road N17 (in footway),

    • No.49 Queens Road N11,

    • No.2 Kings Road N17,

    • No.52 Napier Road N17,

    • No.20 Ashfield Road N4,

    • No.16 Shropshire Road N22,

    • No.120 Woodside Road N22,

    • No.23 Marriott Road N10,

    • No.71 Lealand Road N15,

    • No.194 Alexandra Park Road N22,

    • No.117 Thackeray Avenue N17,

  • No.29 & No.35 Rectory Gardens N8.

(ii) To remove Dedicated Disabled Permit Holders Only Parking Bays, outside (unless otherwise stated) the following properties in the London Borough of Haringey;

    • No.123 Boundary Road N22,

    • No.100 Nightingale Road N22,

    • No.159 Gladstone Avenue N22,

    • No.17 Elgin Road N22,

    • No.43 Boyton Road N8,

    • No.50 Windermere Road N10,

    • No.9 Outram Road N22, adjacent to No.205 North Hill on Kenwood Road N6,

    • No.24 Marriott Road N10,

    • No.3 Elms Avenue N10,

    • No.95 Thackeray Avenue N17,

    • No.33 Commonwealth Road N17,

    • outside No.2 Honeymead on Campsfield Road N8,

    • No.2 Crescent Road N15,

  • No.39 Grand Avenue N10.

(iii) To make map-based changes on the following roads to ensure the Council’s internal map-based records match the restrictions on the ground (no changes will be made to the restrictions on site):

a. To remove disabled parking bays outside:

    • No.20 Outram Road N22,

    • No.61 Clyde Road N22,

    • No.5 Dukes Avenue N10,

    • No.48 Rathcoole Avenue N8,

    • outside No.3 Queens Parade (Ilias Grill) on Bounds Green Road N11,

    • opposite No.24 Flexmere Road N17 (in footway),

  • No.78 Walpole Road N17.

(iv) To reinstate the applicable Controlled Parking Zone restrictions at the locations mentioned in Sections 2(i), (ii) & (iii) of this notice.

A copy of the proposed Orders, a copy of this notice, a copy of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the proposed Orders and plan(s) showing the locations and effects of the Orders can be viewed via the online consultation portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey. Alternatively, an appointment can be made, by emailing traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk to inspect these documents during normal office hours at the reception desk of Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR. Appointments to inspect the documents will be available until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Orders are made or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders or make other representation should send grounds for their objection via the online portal https://consultation.appyway.com/haringey or alternatively email traffic.orders@haringey.gov.uk or write to Traffic Orders, Parking Projects Team, Alexandra House, 4th floor, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, N22 7TR quoting reference 2026-T19, by 26th August 2026.
