(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF USE) ORDER 2026
Fife Council has made an Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to –
(i) prohibit the use by vehicular traffic of Durham Wynd (from Bourtree Brae to Station Pk); and
(ii) temporarily rescind the one-way traffic system on Main St to allow two-way traffic to proceed.
The Order is to allow Scottish Power works to be carried out in safety and will be operational from 10/08/26 to 28/08/26 or until earlier completion of the works. The alternative route for through traffic will be via Largo Rd, Harbour Wynd and Main St. Access for emergency service vehicles will be via the diversion. Access for residents and pedestrians will be maintained.
