Bracknell Road - Temporary Road Closure Due To Safety Barrier Installation Works

(B3348 BRACKNELL ROAD, BRACKNELL) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2026
Notice is hereby given that Bracknell Forest Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order, in accordance with Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding southbound along:
a) B3348 Bracknell Road, Bracknell (southbound) from Foresters Roundabout.
The alternative route for this closure is A3095 Foresters Way, B3430 Nine Mile Ride, Old Wokingham Road, B3348 Bracknell Road and this route reversed.
The purpose of this Order is to ensure public & worker safety while EE install a new safety barrier on the public highway.
The proposed Order will come into operation on the 3rd August 2026, and its maximum duration will be 6 months. However, it is currently planned that the road closure will be in place between 20:00 until 0:500 from 3rd August 2026 until 8th August 2026.
This Order shall only apply when the appropriate signs and markings are displayed in the road.
