Notice is hereby given that East Riding of Yorkshire Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along part of Burlington Crescent, Goole between its junctions with Estcourt Street and Carlisle Street commencing 24 August 2026 at 08.00 hours until 26 August 2026 at 18.00 hours for the purposes of completing a Network Plus defect in the carriageway works. The road closure is necessary to enable the works to be carried out in a manner consistent with ensuring the safety of the public. The Order is valid for 18 months, but it is anticipated that the works will be completed within three days. The alternative route for traffic affected by the road closure will be via Estcourt Street, Estcourt Terrace, Clock Tower Roundabout and Carlisle Street, Goole CP, Goole South Ward. The diversion route will be signed at the time of closure. The road will be closed to all through traffic but access will be maintained for residents, emergency vehicles and pedestrians.
