Mae’r ffordd amgen ar hyd Cross Street, Duke Street, Rhydynos Street, Hill Street, Market Street, Broad Street ac i’r gwrthwyneb. (Cedwir mynediad i drigolion a’r gwasanaethau brys cyn belled ag y bo modd yn rhesymol).

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (1)(A) (AS AMENDED)
CROSS STREET, BLAENAVON
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the County Borough Council of Torfaen in exercise of their powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) intend not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any traffic from proceeding along a section of Cross Street, Blaenavon.
The alternative route is along Cross Street, Duke Street, Rhydynos Street, Hill Street, Market Street, Broad Street and viceversa. (Access for residents and emergency services will be maintained as far as is reasonably practicable).
The prohibition is necessary because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road to lay ducting and clear duct blockages.
The proposed Order will operate from Wednesday 5th August to Friday 7th August 2026 for 3 days and any other days deemed necessary within a period not exceeding 18 months.
