(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2026
On 20 July 2026 the North Lanarkshire Council made the above-named Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, and in exercise of all other enabling powers, which makes it unlawful for any person to drive or cause or permit to be driven any motor vehicle (with the exception of vehicles engaged on footway resurfacing) on Coshneuk Road, Stepps from property at No.37 to property at No.69 by reason of works being executed on or near that location.
Alternative routes: via Fourth Avenue, First Avenue, Cumbernauld Road A80 and Coshneuk Road
Pedestrian access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
Vehicular access will be maintained, where practicable, during the closure.
The Order, will come into operation at 0700 hours on Monday, 3 August 2026 and will remain in operation until 2359 hours on Tuesday, 11 August 2026.
