(TEMPORARY CLOSING OF BUCKWOOD ROAD, MARKYATE) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Buckwood Road, Markyate from a point 34m south west of its junction with High Street south westwards for a distance of approximately 17m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Buckwood Road, High Street, A5183 (Dunstable Road/ Watling Street), B4540 Lynch Hill, Clayhall Road and Buckwood Road. The Order is needed because carriageway remedial works are proposed to be executed on or near the Road. The Order will come into effect from 14 August 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months. The works are scheduled to take 1 day to complete and will only take effect on the days and times indicated by signs on or near the Road. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF FENNYCROFT ROAD, HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER 2026

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Fennycroft Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Rayburn Road north westwards for a distance of approximately 20m (“the Road”). An alternative route will be via Fennycroft Road, Galley Hill, Howards Drive, Middleknights Hill and Fennycroft Road. NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using that length of Astrope Lane, Puttenham/Astrope/Long Marston from its junction with Broad Highway north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, south eastwards, north eastwards, north westwards and north eastwards to its junction with Tring Road, a distance of approximately 1881m (“the Road”), except for access. An alternative route will be via Broad Highway, Puttenham Road, B489 Lower Icknield Way, Wingrave Road and Tring Road. ADDITIONALLY all vehicles are prohibited from waiting at any time on both sides of this length of road, whilst works are in progress. (TEMPORARY CLOSING OF VARIOUS ROADS IN HEMEL HEMPSTEAD) ORDER NO.2 2026

NOTICE is given that Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to prohibit all vehicular traffic from using the following lengths of roads (“the Roads”):1. that length of Henry Street/Orchard Road, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Featherbed Lane south eastwards and north eastwards to its junction with A4251 London Road, a distance of approximately 175 m. There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works. 2. that length of Manor Avenue, Hemel Hempstead from its junction with Orchard Street north westwards to its junction with Featherbed Lane, a distance of approximately 80 m. There is no alternative route available, but access will be maintained wherever possible throughout the duration of the works. The Order is needed because utility works are proposed to be executed on or near the Roads. The Order will come into effect from 30 July 2026 and will be valid for a period of 18 months.
