GORCHYMYN CEFNFFORDD YR A487 (LLANTWD, SIR BENFRO) (CYFYNGIADAU A GWAHARDDIADAU TRAFFIG DROS DRO) 2026

MAE GWEINIDOGION CYMRU wedi gwneud Gorchymyn o dan adran 16A o Ddeddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984. Mae angen y Gorchymyn i hwyluso’r gwaith o gynnal yr Eisteddfod Genedlaethol ar gefnffordd yr A487 yn Llantwd, yn Sir Benfro.

Effaith y Gorchymyn fydd gosod terfyn cyflymder 30 mya dros dro a chreu cilffordd ar hyd y darn o gefnffordd yr A487 yn Llantwd, yn Sir Benfro, o’i chyffordd â Fferm Pant y Grwydyn, i’r gogledd o Lantwd, hyd at Gyffordd Rhos Fach, i’r de o Lantwd, sef pellter o 2.5 cilometr. Ni chaniateir goddiweddyd pan fydd y cyfyngiadau uchod ar waith.

Disgwylir y bydd y Gorchymyn yn dod i rym am 06:00 o’r gloch ar 30 Gorffennaf 2026 ac yn parhau mewn grym tan 16:00 o’r gloch ar 9 Awst 2026 neu pan gaiff yr arwyddion dros dro eu symud ymaith yn llawn. Disgwylir i’r cyfyngiad a’r gwaharddiad fod yn weithredol dros y cyfnod llawn.

THE A487 TRUNK ROAD (LLANTOOD, PEMBROKESHIRE) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS AND PROHIBITIONS) ORDER 2026

THE WELSH MINISTERS have made an Order under section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which is necessary to facilitate the holding of the National Eisteddfod event on the A487 trunk road at Llantood, in the County of Pembrokeshire.

The effect of the Order will be to impose a temporary 30 mph speed limit and to create a clearway along the length of the A487 trunk road at Llantood, in Pembrokeshire, from its junction with Pant Y Grwydyn Farm, north of Llantood, to Rhos Fach Junction, south of Llantood, for a distance of 2.5 kilometres. No overtaking will be permitted while the above restrictions are in place.

The Order is expected to come into force at 06:00 hours on 30 July 2026 and remain in force until 16:00 hours on 9 August 2026 or when the temporary signage is fully removed. The restriction and prohibition are expected to operate over the full period.
