NOTICE OF MAKING TEMPORARY TRAFFIC
RESTRICTION ORDER
IN THE BROMBOROUGH AREA 2026
Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable works on or near the roads specified in the proposed order to take place.
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Maple Grove (Temporary Road Closure)
Bromborough Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close Maple Grove (Northern access), Bromborough from a point 50 metres west from its junction with Beechwood Road for a distance of 25 metres in a westerly direction to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route: Maple Grove (Southern access), Beechwood Road.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 17 August 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated the works will be completed by 21 August 2026.

IN THE WALLASEY AREA 2026
Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council have made the above order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable proposed works to be executed on or near the roads specified in the proposed order (having already advertised notice of intent).
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Rullerton Road (Temporary Road Closure)
Wallasey Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close Rullerton Road, Wallasey at its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of 20 metres to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route: Rullerton Road, Torrington Road, Marlowe Road, Mill Lane.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 10 August 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated the works will be completed by 04 September 2026.

Notice is hereby given that Wirral Borough Council intend to make a Temporary Road Traffic Regulation Order under section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended by section 1 and Schedule 1 of the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers to enable works on or near the roads specified in the proposed order to take place.
The effects of the order, the alternative route for vehicular traffic, the date the order comes into force and its maximum duration is set out below.
Higher Bebington Road (Temporary Road Closure)
Bebington Order 2026
The effect of this order will be to close Higher Bebington Road, Bebington at a point 90 metres north from its junction with Acreville Road for a distance of 200 metres in a north-westerly direction to all vehicular traffic. Access will be maintained for pedestrians and cyclists.
Alternative Route: Higher Bebington Road, Teehey Lane, Heath Road, Pulford Road.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 13 August 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27 August 2026.

Alternative Route: Devonshire Road, Dinmore Road, Mill Lane.
Maximum Duration of the order: From 10 August 2026 and will continue to be in force for 18 months or for such less time as is necessary to complete the work to be executed in the highway, although it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 04 September 2026.
