Wick Road (D3112) and Blays Lane (D3123) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 24 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) and 14(7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in – (a) that length of Wick Road (D3112) Englefield Green as extends from the access for “Blays House” to the access for “Sandylands”; and (b) that length of Blays Lane (D3123) Englefield Green as extends from its junction with Wick Road (D3112) to the access for “Blays House”; and 2. suspend “The Surrey County Council Wick Road (D3112) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” and “The Surrey County Council Blays Lane (D3123) Englefield Green Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” insofar as they relate to the roads described in 1. above.
Alternative route – 1.(a) A30 (London Road), A328 (St Judes Road), Bishopsgate Road, Wick Lane and Wick Road, or this route in reverse.
1. (b) A30 (London Road), A328 (St Judes Road) and Blays Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable OCU Services to facilitate high voltage works and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 8 August 2026 for 1 month between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents, pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for emergency services will be maintained either side of by not through the works site.

Sutton Lane (D281) Abinger Hammer and Abinger Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 24 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Sutton Lane (D281) Abinger Hammer and Abinger.
Alternative route – B2126 (Horsham Road), Raikes Lane and Abinger Lane, or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Openreach to facilitate cabling work and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 10 August 2026 for 3 days between the hours of 9.00pm and 6.00am. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Shepperton Road (B376) Shepperton Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 24 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Shepperton Road (B376) Shepperton as extends from the access for “Laleham Farm” to the access for “Laleham Park Nursery”.
Alternative route – B376 (The Broadway), B377 (The Broadway, Ashford Road and Kingston Road), A308 (Staines Road West), A244 (Windmill Road, Upper Halliford Road, Upper Halliford Bypass and Gaston Bridge Road) and B3366 (Green Lane), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable Barr Engineering Services Ltd to facilitate pole replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 11 August 2026 for 1 day between the hours of 8.00am and 6.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services, residents, pedestrians, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Pewley Hill (D4015), Castle Street (D4015) and Quarry Street (D4015) Guildford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 24 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in lengths of roads specified in the Schedule to this Notice.
This Order is required to enable SGN to facilitate gas main replacement and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 1 August 2026 for 1 month between the hours of 8.00am and 5.00pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained either side of but not through the works site. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Schedule
(a) that length of Pewley Hill (D4015) Guildford as extends from its junction with South Hill (D4015) to its junction with Oxford Terrace (D4014). Alternative route – South Hill, Sydenham Road, Brodie Road (clockwise), Bright Hill (anti-clockwise) and Harvey Road, or this route in reverse.
(b) that length of Castle Street (D4015) Guildford as extends from its junction with Quarry Street (D4015) to its junction with South Hill (D4015). Alternative route – A281 (Millbrook, Quarry Street and Shalford Road), Pilgrims Way, Echo Pit Road, Warwicks Bench Road, Warwicks Bench and South Hill, or this route in reverse.
(c) that length of Quarry Street (D4015) Guildford as extends from its junction with High Street (D4015) to its junction with Quarry Street (A281). Alternative route – as (b) above.

Station Road (D3019) Chertsey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Further to the issue of a Notice under Section 14(2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 “the Act”, on 24 July 2026, Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Act, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from waiting in that length of Station Road (D3019) Chertsey as extends from its junction with Charles Street (D3018) to its junction with Victory Road (D3018).
This Order is required to enable Thakeham Partnerships Ltd to facilitate urgent works which requires hoarding to be erected and associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 12-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 31 July. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary waiting restriction will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Exemptions are provided in respect of the temporary waiting restrictions to permit vehicles to wait in order to pick up and set down passengers, to load and unload goods, to carry out essential services and works or when used by local authorities in pursuance of statutory powers or duties and for furniture removals. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled person blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

D6814 Greenwood Road and D6814 Greenwood Close, Thames Ditton Temporary Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Unloading Order 2026
On 29 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting, loading, and unloading at any time, by vehicles on both sides of the carriageway in the entire length of D6814 Greenwood Road and D6814 Greenwood Close, Thames Ditton It is anticipated however that the restriction will be required only in sections as works are progressed. This Temporary Order is required by Southern Gas Networks to carry out gas mains replacement work. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 7am and 5pm within 6 weeks of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 04 August 2026. This temporary restriction which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed and only to such extent as indicated by those traffic signs. Exemptions apply for vehicles when waiting because they are required by law to stop, are obliged to stop in order to prevent an accident or are prevented from proceeding because of circumstances outside the drivers control and in respect of anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or of a civil enforcement officer will apply when the temporary restrictions are in force. (N.B. Disabled persons displaying a disabled blue badge will not be exempt from the temporary waiting restriction).

D227 Burrows Lane, Gomshall and D194 Brook Hill, Albury Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 29 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to:- 1. Prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of:- a) D227 Burrows Lane, Gomshall that is crossed by the level crossing and for a distance of 50m either side. Alternative route:- Burrows Lane, Hook Lane, Little London, Park Road, New Road, Sherbourne, A25 Guildford Road, Shere Road and Queen Street. b) D194 Brook Hill, Albury that is crossed by the level crossing and for a distance of 50m either side. Alternative route:- Brook Hill, Park Road, Little London and Brook Lane. 2. Suspend “The Surrey County Council D227 Burrows Lane, Gomshall Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable Steadline Limited to carry out essential road marking and/or associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8pm and 4am, within 2 nights of the 12 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 04 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closures will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times under direction of site operatives via a temporary walkway. Access for emergency services, residents, businesses, cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times via the alternative routes described above.

Guildford Road (D3020) and Guildford Street (D3020) Chertsey Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 29 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicular traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of (a) Guildford Road (D3020) Chertsey that is crossed by the level crossing known as “Chertsey Level Crossing” and for a distance of 30 metres in a south westerly direction; (b) Guildford Street (D3020) Chertsey that is crossed by the level crossing known as “Chertsey Level Crossing” and for a distance of 30 metres in a north easterly direction. Alternative Route: Guildford Road, (A320) Bell Bridge Road, (A317) Pyrcroft Road, (A317) Eastworth Road, Victory Road, Station Road, and Guildford Street, or this route in reverse. This Order is to facilitate level crossing on/off track rail maintenance works for, or on behalf of Network Rail. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 night, between the hours of 11.30pm and 5.30am, during the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties will be maintained at all times, via the banksmen on site, as will access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Lyne Road (D3180) Virginia Water Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 29 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Lyne Road (D3180) Virginia Water as extends from its junction with (C10) Trumps Green Road and for a distance of 80 metres in a south westerly direction along Lyne Road. Alternative Route: Trumps Green Road, Bridge Lane, and Lyne Road, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate telecom utility works for, or on behalf of Telligent Ltd. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 1 day, between the hours of 8am and 5pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 11 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents,
pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
All other vehicular traffic, including emergency service vehicles will be required to follow the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Prestwick Lane (D154) Chiddingfold Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 29 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from entering or proceeding in that length of Prestwick Lane (D154) Chiddingfold as extends from its junction with (D157) Pook Hill to its junction with the access to the property known as “Prestwick Coach House”. Alternative Route: Prestwick Lane, Combe Lane, (A283) Petworth Lane, Brook Road, Church Lane, (A286) Haslemere Road, (A286) Grayswood Road, Lower Road, and Prestwick Lane, or this route in reverse. This Order is required to facilitate water utility works for, or on behalf of Thames Water. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 days, between the hours of 9.30am and 23.59pm, during the 12-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 12 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency service vehicles, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Due to the nature of the works, there will be no other vehicular traffic through the closure, and all traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route. No sole access will be affected by this closure.

Birtley Road (A281) Bramley Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Birtley Road (A281) Bramley as extends from its junction with The Coombes (D667) to its junction with Woodrough Copse (X281).
Alternative route – A281 (Birtley Road, Rooks Hill and Horsham Road), B2130 (Elmbridge Road), B2128 (The Common, Guildford Road, Stroud Common, Church Hill, The Green, Cranleigh Road, Wonersh Common), A248 (Kings Road) and A281 (Horsham Road, High Street, and Birtley Road), or this route in reverse.
This Order is required to enable the Council to facilitate the construction of a new pedestrian crossing and associated works.
These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible during the 18-month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for emergency services and residents will be maintained either side of but not through the works site. Access for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists and dismounted equestrians will be maintained at all times.

Ockford Ridge (D5425) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above-mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ockford Ridge (D5425) Godalmingas extends from a point in line with the common boundary between No. 126 and No. 125 Ockford Ridge south-eastwards then south-westwards to its junction with (D5425) Hawthorn Road. Alternative Route – Ockford Ridge; Miltons Crescent; Primrose Ridge; and Hawthorn Road, or this same route in reverse. This 12-month Temporary Traffic Order which commences on 24 August 2026 is required to facilitate ground penetrating radar survey works and/or any other associated works to be carried out by, or on behalf of Hailsham Roadways LTD within the length of road described in this notice. These works are anticipated to be carried out as soon as possible over 3 days between the hours of 8am and 5pm. Advanced warning signs will be displayed, and the temporary closure will operate only when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for residents with then closure area, the emergency services, pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times via operatives on site. All other traffic will be required to use the signed diversion route.

Shere Hill Climb, Charity Car Parade C45 Staple Lane, East Clandon (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order, pursuant to Sections 16A and 16B of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”), the effect of which will be to prohibit all vehicles from entering or proceeding along the entire length of C45 Staple Lane, East Clandon, that extends from its junction with A246 Epsom Road, to its junction with D259 Combe Lane, such restriction shall also apply in relation to the riding, leading or driving of horses or any other animals. The Temporary Traffic Order is required to enable the holding of a charity car parade namely the “Shere Hill Climb” on the length of Staple Lane described above. The temporary prohibition specified above will not apply to vehicles being used in connection with the said parade (including those used for traffic management purposes), or to anything done on the direction or with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a traffic marshal, or any sign placed by Surrey Police. Emergency access will be maintained for the police, fire brigade and ambulance services and for organisations responsible for dealing with the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, water or electronic communications, to premises in the area and for the removal of any obstruction to traffic. The Council are satisfied, in accordance with subsection (3) of Section 16A of the Act, that the event to which the Order relates cannot be held otherwise than on a road. Access for pedestrians; and dismounted cyclists will be maintained under the direction of a marshal. Access for residents will be maintained under the direction of a marshal from the southern end of the temporary closure. Vehicular traffic will be diverted via A246 Epsom Road, A25 Epsom Road, A25 Shere Road and C45 Combe Lane. The Order will come into effect on 06 September 2026, for a period of 1 day and is anticipated to apply from 6am until 6pm but the prohibitions will only be operative while the relevant traffic signs are displayed. A copy of the draft Order and a plan showing the length of road affected and diversion route may be inspected free of charge at:- Guildford Library, 77 North Street, Guildford, GU1 4AL, and Horsley Library, Parade Court, Ockham Road South, East Horsley, KT24 6QR. D3040 Guildford Street, Chertsey Temporary Suspension of One Way Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Order under Section 14(1) and (7) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, the effect of which will be to suspend the “Borough of Runnymede (Guildford Street Chertsey) One-Way Traffic and Prohibition of Left/Right Turns Order 1980” in its entirety. This Traffic Order is required to enable Affinity Water to carry out water mains connection and/or maintenance and/or associated works. These works are anticipated to be carried out between the hours of 8am and 6pm within 5 days of the 18 month period of operation of this Temporary Order that commences on 24 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary suspension which is anticipated to be required for 24 hours each day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and, dismounted cyclists and equestrians will be maintained at all times. Access for residents, businesses and emergency services will be maintained at all times via the alternative route:- Clockwise – Guildford Street, London Street and Heriot Road. Anti-clockwise – Guildford Street, Heriot Road and London Street.

Fairways (D6200) Ashford Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in the entire length of Fairways (D6200) Ashford. This Order is required to facilitate construction of raised table works within the carriageway for, or on behalf of Surrey County Council. These works are anticipated to be carried out over 3 weeks, between the hours of 8pm and 6am, within the 18-month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 27 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary closure, which is anticipated to be in operation 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. It will not be possible to maintain access through the closure for emergency services, residents and businesses. Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. The Council are satisfied that, in accordance with Section 3(2)(a) and 3(2)(b) of the Act, vehicular access to and from premises within the length of road above, or accessible only therefrom, may be restricted in order to avoid danger to persons or other traffic using the road and/or for preventing the likelihood of any such danger arising. There is no alternative route for this closure.

Munstead Heath Road (C31) Godalming Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Munstead Heath Road (C31) Godalming which extends from its junction with Alldens lane to its junction with Public Bridleway No.516 (Busbridge). This Order is required to enable M Group and/or Thames Water to carry out water network upgrade works, which is anticipated to be completed within 3 days, between 8am and 6pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 19 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times. Alternative Route 1 – Munstead Heath Lane, Foxburrow Hill Road, A281, A248 Broadford Road, A3100 Meadrow, Flambard Way and Brighton Road; Alternative Route 2 – Brighton Road, A3100 Flambard Way, Meadrow, Broadford Road, A281 Foxburrow Hill Road and Munstead Heath Road.

Ripley Road (C38) East Clandon/West Clandon Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Ripley Road (C38) East Clandon/West Clandon which extends from the junction with X38 The Spinney to the junction with D254 Back Lane. This Order is required to enable Volker Highways and/or Network Rail to carry out drainage renewals and/or drainage works, which is anticipated to be completed within 25 days, between 8am and 5pm, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 17 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions, which is anticipated to be in force 24 hours per day, will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.

Tilt Road (D6870) Cobham Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of Tilt Road (D6870) Cobham which extends from its junction with Elm Grove Road north-westwards to the northern property boundary line of No.24. This Order is required to enable BT Openreach to carry out cabling works and/or pole replacement works, which is anticipated to be completed within 1 day between 9.30am and 3.30am, during the 12 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 18 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access by emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained at all times, as will access for pedestrians and cyclists. Alternative Route – Tilt Road and Stoke Road.

D3046 Foxhills Road, Ottershaw Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Surrey County Council propose to make the above mentioned Temporary Traffic Order under Section 14(1) of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the effect of which will be to:- (a) prohibit vehicles from entering or proceeding in that length of D3046 Foxhills Road, Ottershaw which extends from its junction with A320 Guildford Road Roundabout to its junction with the entrance to Foxhills Road; and (b) revoke “Surrey County Council D3046 Foxhills Road, Ottershaw Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2025” in its entirety. This Order is required to enable Surrey County Council to facilitate footway reconstruction works and/or major maintenance works, which is anticipated to be completed as soon as possible within the 18 month period of operation of this Order which will commence on 17 August 2026. Advanced warning signs will be displayed and the temporary restrictions will only operate when the relevant traffic signs are displayed. In the event that it is necessary to restrict any access at any time under Section 3 of the Act, the road can only be closed for a maximum of 8 hours in any 24-hour period.
Any vehicle found to be obstructing the highway during these works will be removed to a suitable location outside the limits of the works after all reasonable methods have been undertaken to identify and contact the vehicle’s owner. Access to premises within the affected length of road, including access for emergency service vehicles to these properties, will be maintained when safe to do so and if necessary via the signed diversion route. Access for pedestrians and cyclists will be maintained when safe to do so. Alternative Route – D3046 Foxhills Road, D3045 Stonehill Road, B386 Holloway Hill and A320 Guildford Road.

Public Footpath 305 (Wonersh) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
On 23 July 2026 Surrey County Council made the above-mentioned temporary order, the effect of which is to prohibit all traffic on foot or by any other means from entering or proceeding along that length of Public Footpath 305 (Wonersh) which extends in a north-easterly direction for 305 metres from grid ref: 502564 145427 to grid ref: 502629 145723.
The order is necessary on the grounds of public safety due to construction traffic on the highway. The closure will be in operation for a period of six months from 24 July 2026 or until completion of the works, if earlier. That period can be extended by the Secretary of State for Transport if required.
The temporary closure will only be in operation when appropriate road traffic signs are displayed on site by the county council or an authorised person acting on its behalf. Access to properties will not be affected.
The alternative route for traffic from the southern end of closure will be:
From grid ref: 502564 145427, head north-east, then north-west, then again north-east along a temporary path marked on the ground until you reach grid ref: 502629 145723. Total length of alternative route: 380 metres.
The alternative route for traffic from the northern end of the closure will be the reverse of the route described above.
“The Surrey County Council Public Footpath 305 (Wonersh) Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026” was made by the County Council under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
