What is happening?

Manchester City Council
Notice is hereby given that Manchester City Council proposes to make the following Orders under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 

The title and affect of the Orders will be as follows, City of Manchester (Various Primary School Entrances, Manchester (Prohibition of Stopping and Revocation) Order 2015 (Amendment No.44) Order 2026.

The effect of the Order will be to introduce School keep Clear on: Peel Hall Primary School - Ashurst Rd, the east side from a point 125.5m south of its junction with Cadnam Road in a southerly direction for a distance of 43.5m. Ashurst Rd, the east side from a point 82m south of its junction with Cadman Rd in a southerly direction for a distance of 43.5m. 

City Of Manchester (Carruthers Street And Pollard Street, Manchester) (Prohibition And Restriction Of Waiting, Loading And Amendment) Order 2026 Proposed No Waiting at any Time on: Pollard St - the north-west side from its junction with Carruthers St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 70m. The south-east side from its junction with Carruthers St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 70m. Proposed No Waiting Monday to Friday between 8.00am and 6.00pm And Saturday8.00am to 5.00pm on: Carruthers St - the north-east side from its junction with Piercy St in a south easterly direction to a point 80m north west of its junction with Merrill St. The north-east side from its junction with Old Mill St to its junction with Piercy St. The south-west side from its junction with Old Mill St to its junction with Piercy St. The south-west side from its junction with Piercy St in a south easterly direction to a point 40m north west of its junction with Pollard St. Proposed No Loading At Any Time on: Pollard St - the north-west side from its junction with Carruthers St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 70m. The south-east side from its junction with Carruthers St in a south westerly direction for a distance of 70m. Existing Orders have been amended to be consistent with the proposals. 

Copies of the proposed Orders together with the plans showing the proposals may be inspected at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive. Please ensure that the Contact Centre is open before attending. 

If it is closed or you are unable to attend, a copy of the plan may be requested (without payment) by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or writing to the address at the end of this notice. 

Objections to the proposals must be sent to me in writing to phlegal@manchester.gov.uk or the address below, stating the grounds on which they are made, no later than 19th August 2026.
