(40mph Speed Limit) Order 202-

Cambridgeshire County Council proposes to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and of all other enabling powers and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act, the effect of which will be to:

Introduce a 40mph speed limit on the A1307 Westbound in Huntingdon from a point 689 metres south-east of its junction with Brampton Road (B1514) and Edison Bell Way (B1044) to a point 1,089m south-east of the same junction.

The draft Order, together with a map showing the roads and lengths of road concerned and a statement of the Council’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be examined at the office of the undersigned by appointment only.

Objections to the proposal, together with the grounds on which they are made or any additional comments, must be submitted to the https://consultation.appyway.com/ portal, sent in writing to the undersigned, or by email to consultation.responses@cambridgeshire.gov.uk by 19th August 2026 quoting reference PR1235. Comments will be used as part of our consultation process and may be published, anonymised, in reports to Committees.
