NOTICE OF PROPOSAL (Prohibition and RESTRICTION OF Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2022 (Amendment No.55) 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Cheshire East Borough Council proposes to make an Order under Sections 1, 2, 4, 32, 35, 38, 45, 46, 49, 51, 53, and 61, and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers and in accordance with its duty under Section 122 of the said Act.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to:-
1. Amend the Cheshire East Borough Council (Prohibition and restriction of Waiting, Loading, Stopping and Street Parking Places) (Various Roads) (Consolidation) Order 2022 by; i. introducing the restriction outlined in Schedule 1 and by adding Map Tile No. DQ99, DQ100 & DP100 Rev0 in the Consolidation Order schedules.
2. The restrictions and/or prohibitions imposed by this proposed Order shall be in addition to and not in derogation of any restrictions or requirements imposed by any regulations made or having effect as if made under the Act or by or under any other enactment.
SCHEDULE 1
(INTRODUCTION OF NO STOPPING ON ENTRANCE MARKING RESTRICTION)
Richard Gibson Road
From a point 28m west of the Richard Gibson Road/Reaseheath Way junction, for a length of 31m.
SCHEDULE 2
(NO WAITING AT ANY TIME RESTRICTIONS)
Richard Gibson Road
North Side – From the junction with Reaseheath Way, for a distance of 16m in a westerly direction.
South Side – From the junction with Reaseheath Way, for a distance of 28m in a westerly direction.
From a point 15m east of the Tipton Green Close junction, for a length of 64m, in an easterly direction.
Reaseheath Way
Northeast Side – From edge of junction with Richard Gibson Road for a distance of 15m in a Northern direction.
Northwestern Side – From edge of dropped kerb access for property No68 for a distance of 46m in a southerly direction.
Southeast Side – From edge of junction with Richard Gibson Road for a distance of 10m in a Southern direction.
