Somerset Council Parish of Crewkerne Temporary Closure of Hermitage Street
Somerset Council in exercise of its powers under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, propose to make an Order prohibiting all traffic from proceeding along: Hermitage Street - from the junction with Foundry Square, northwards for a total distance of 164 metres. This Order will enable Walton Civil Engineering Ltd to carry out permanent reinstatement works on behalf of Wales and West Utilities.
The Order becomes effective on 12th August 2026 and will remain in force for 18 months. The works are expected to commence on 19th August 2026 and last until 20th August 2026 between the hours of 00:00 - 23:59 for a total of 2 days.
