AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council made an Order, the effect of which is to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Shawfield Lane from its junction with Edenfield Road for a distance of 195 metres to the junction with Shawfield Grove
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Shawfield Lane from its junction with Shawfield Lane, Rochdale direction for a distance of 195 metres to the junction with Shawfield Grove.
The Order is required to facilitate a water main renewal within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 00:00 on the 22nd July 2026 until 23:59 on the 31st August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Woodhouse Lane, Knowl Hill Drive, Seven Acres Lane, Keepers Drive & vice versa.
(COLLEGE ROAD, ROCHDALE)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING
AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along College Road from a point 60 metres west of its junction with St Mary’s Gate for a distance of 15metres in a westerly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along College Road from a point 60 metres west of its junction with St Mary’s Gate for a distance of 15metres in a westerly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate College Road Sewer Connection within the carriageway The Order will be operative from 08:00 on the 17th August 2026 until 23:59 on the 28th August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via College Road, St Marys Gate, Spotland Road, Holland Street & vice versa.
(CHESHAM AVENUE, ROCHDALE)

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING
AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Chesham Avenue from its junction with Manchester Road for a distance of 527 metres in an easterly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Chesham Avenue from its junction with Manchester Road for a distance of 527 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate Highways improvments within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 07:30 on the 17th August 2026 until 17:00 on the 23rd August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Carnforth Avenue, Chatburn Avenue, Thornham New Road, Manchester Road & vice versa.

(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICLES ORDER)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME ORDER) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council intend, in not less than seven days, to make an Order, the effect of which will be to;
(i) Temporarily prohibit vehicles from proceeding along Edenfield Road from a point 10 metres west of its junction with Overtown Lane for a distance of 674 metres in an easterly direction.
(ii) Temporary prohibit vehicles from waiting at anytime along Edenfield Road from a point 10 metres west of its junction with Overtown Lane for a distance of 674 metres in an easterly direction.
The Order is required to facilitate Highway resurfacing within the carriageway.
The Order will be operative from 08:00 hours until18:00hours each day Saturday 15th August until Sunday 16th August 2026.
The alternative route for vehicles will be via Edenfield Road, Spotland Road, Sandy Lane, Bury Road, Bury and Rochdale Old Road, Bell Lane, Moorgate, Walmersley Road, Manchester Road, Whalley Road, Wood Lane, Bolton Road North, Bury Road, Rochdale Road, Edenfield Road & vice versa
