THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(WODEN ROAD) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton City
Council propose to make an Order under Section 14(1)(a)
of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as substituted by
the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991,
prohibiting vehicles from proceeding on Woden Road from
its junction with Hobgate Road to outside St Stephen’s
Church of England Primary School.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of eighteen
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 10 August 2026 until 14 August 2026.
The vehicular diversion route is: Wednesfield Road,
Culwell Street, Hilton Street, Springfield Road,
Cannock Road and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate works for a service
disconnection by Cadent Gas.
