ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting pedestrians from
proceeding on Stafford Street Footway outside
The Hogs Head Public House.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of six
months, but it is anticipated that the works will be
undertaken from 10th August 2026 until
18th September 2026.
The pedestrian diversion route is: Broad Street,
Princes Square, Wulfruna Street and vice versa.
The Order is required to facilitate footway resurfacing
by City of Wolverhampton Council.
