PROPOSED TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER CLOS YR EFAIL, HEOL Y GEIFR & SWANSEA ROAD WAITING RESTRICTIONS NOTICE 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the City and County of Swansea intends to make an Order in pursuance of its powers as contained in the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ("the Act") the effect of which is as set out in the Schedule(s) below.
A copy of the proposed Order, Statement of Reasons and an appropriate plan may be inspected during normal office hours at Y Storfa, 277-278 Oxford St, Swansea SA1 3EL. Alternatively the proposal documents can be viewed online at https://www.swansea.gov.uk/permanenttro.
Any objections to the proposals should be submitted in writing setting out the reasons thereto to reach the undersigned at the above address or via e-mail at Legal. TrafficNotices@swansea.gov.uk by the 20 August 2026 quoting reference DVT- 286135/EE

The existing orders are revoked as far as they are inconsistent with the proposals hereinafter contained which relate to the length or lengths of the road or roads referred to in the schedules hereto.

On its northeastern side from a point 48 metres northwest to a point 73 metres north of the northwestern kerbline of Mynydd Gelli Wastad Road, a distance of 25 metres.
SCHEDULE 3
PROHIBITION OF WAITING AT ANY TIME
HEOL Y GEIFR
On its northern side from the westernmost boundary of No.12 Swansea Road for a distance of 25 metres in a south westerly then northerly direction.
HEOL Y GEIFR (Fronting No.22 Swansea Road)
On its western side from its junction with the southern kerbline of the access road to the 'Plough & Harrow' Public House Car Park for a distance of 32 metres in a southerly direction.
On its eastern side from its junction with the western kerbline of Swansea Road (B4489) for a distance of 22 metres in a westerly then southerly direction.

On its western side from its junction with the southern kerbline of Heol Y Geifr for a distance of 19 metres in a southerly direction.
