ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
Warwickshire County Council has made the following Temporary Traffic Orders:
GRANBY ROAD, HONINGTON
Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic.
Reason for Order: Remedial works to rectify defect.
Order Commences: 7 August 2026 for up to 18 months.
Anticipated Completion: 7 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Granby Road, Honington Road, Idlicote Road, Fosse Way, Shipston Road, Stratford Road and vice versa. Contractor: Customer Solutions Plus, Tel: 07918 298599

OAKHAM ROAD, LITTLE COMPTON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works. Order Commences: 4 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Access & Diversion: Oakham Road, Road from A44 to the Rollright Stones, A44 from Cross Hands Hill to County Boundary, London Road, Newtown, Brewery Row, Redlands Row and vice versa. CHURCH WALK, WELLESBOURNE Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works for new streetlights and signs. Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months. WALTON PARK ROAD, WELLESBOURNE Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works as part of the mains renewal scheme. Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 14 September 2026. Access & Diversion: Kineton Road, Newbold Road, Church Street, Bridge Street, Chestnut Square, Ettington Road, Walton Road and vice versa. BRIDGE STREET (AKA CHARLECOTE ROAD), HAMPTON LUCY Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular from Snitterfield Street to Church Road. Reason for Order: Carriageway structural patching works. Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 5 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Church Road, Charlecote Road, Stratford Road, Wellesbourne Road, Main Street, Tiddington Road, Banbury Road, Bridgefoot, Warwick Road (for north bound diversion), Bridgeway (for south bound diversion), A439 Warwick Road, Hatton Bank Lane, Walton Road, Snitterfield Street and vice versa. OLD TREE LANE, UPPER TYSOE Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Works to install new mains pipework. Order Commences: 3 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 9 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Main Street, Baldwins Lane, Old Tree Lane and vice versa. Contractor: Chevron Traffic Management Ltd, Tel: 0330 008 0820. Warwickshire County Council proposes to make the following Temporary Traffic Orders:

FELL MILL, HONINGTON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works. Order Commences: 20 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 20 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Fell Mill, St Dennis Road, Brailes Road, Castle Hill, Fant Hill, Barcheston Village Road, Fell Mill Lane and vice versa. Contractor: Openreach, Tel: 03700 500792.

PUBLIC BRIDLEWAY SM191 IN THE PARISH OF UPPER LIGHTHORNE Order Effect: Bridleway closed to all traffic from grid reference SP3536556258 to SP3520856804. Reason for Order: For public safety because of works being carried out on or near to the bridleway. Order Commences: 15 August 2026 for up to 6 months. Access & Diversion: will be signed. PUBLIC FOOTPATH SM175A IN THE PARISH OF RADWAY Order Effect: Footpath closed to all traffic from grid reference SP3687248347 to SP3692348445. Reason for Order: For public safety because of works being carried out on or near to the path. Order Commences: 15 August 2026 for up to 6 months. Access & Diversion: Travel along the fence line, through the hedge and rejoin the footpath. Contractor: WCC Rights of Way Team, paths@warwickshire.gov.uk, Tel: 01926 412910.

CHURCH ROAD & TREVELYAN CLOSE, CLAVERDON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: To enable works for provision of new telegraph poles. Order Commences: 13 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 13 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Church Road – Church Road, Langley Road, Station Road and vice versa. Trevelyan Close – No diversion available. Contractor: Core Highways, Tel: 0330 043 3030.

PILLERTON ROAD, BUTLERS MARSTON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works. Order Commences: 18 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 18 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Pillerton Road, Bridge Road, Kineton Road, Tysoe Road, Oxhill Road, Pillerton Hersey Road, Banbury Road, Kiblers Lane, The Acre, Halford Road and vice versa. C92 HENLEY ROAD, PRESTON BAGOT Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from Edge Lane to Coppice Woods. Reason for Order: Drainage and associated works. Order Commences: 17 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 21 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Preston Road, Rookery Lane. Contractor: Balfour Beatty, Tel: 01926 245650.

MAIN STREET, OXHILL Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Telegraph pole renewal works. Order Commences: 21 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 21 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Main Street, Whatcote Road, Kineton Road, Banbury Road, Stratford Road, Tysoe Road, Lane End, Lower Tysoe Road, Sandpits Road, Oxhill Road and vice versa. HALFORD ROAD & ILMINGTON ROAD, ARMSCOTE Order Effect: Roads closed to vehicular traffic as follows: Halford Road closed from 429 Fosse Way to A3400 Stratford Road and from A3400 Stratford Rd to Armscote Rd (locally known as Newbold Rd). Ilmington Road closed to through traffic Reason for Order: Carriage patching and associated works, 08.00hrs - 16.00hrs. Order Commences: 15 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 15 August 2026. Access & Diversion: A429 Fosse Way, Darlingscote Road, Shipton Road, Darlingscote Road, Ilmington Road and vice versa and A3400 at Halford Road then join main diversion route at A429 Fosse Way. CHAPEL LANE, STRATFORD UPON AVON Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic from its junction with Chapel Street to the car park entrance/exit of King Edward VI School. Access to the school will be maintained. In addition, the one-way traffic flow from Waterside/Southern Lane junction will be temporarily suspended. Reason for Order: Carriageway repairs/resurfacing and associated works. Order Commences: 17 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 21 August 2026. Access & Diversion: Southern Lane, Old Town, Church Street, Chapel Street, High Street, Union Street, Guild Street, Warwick Road, Bridgeway, Bridgefoot, Warwick Road, Bridgeway, Bridge Street, Waterside, Southern Lane, Old Town, Church Street, Chapel Street and vice versa. COSTARD AVENUE, SHIPSTON ON STOUR Order Effect: Road closed to vehicular traffic. Reason for Order: Renewal of boundary box and meter installation works. Order Commences: 20 August 2026 for up to 18 months. Anticipated Completion: 21 August 2026. Access & Diversion: No diversion available. Contractor: Chevron TM Ltd, Tel: 0330 008 0820.

For all of the above temporary orders, pedestrian access to and egress from properties and land situated adjacent to the length of road to be closed will be maintained at all times. Vehicular access will be maintained where possible.

NOTICE OF MAKING OF AN ORDER
HIGHWAYS ACT 1980
WARWICKSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(PART OF FOOTPATH SD267 TANWORTH IN ARDEN) PUBLIC PATH
DIVERSION ORDER 2026

The above Order, made on 14 July 2026 under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will DIVERT the full length and width of Footpath SD267 from point A (grid reference 410364 – 270503) to point B (grid reference 409873 – 270674), total distance of approximately 519 metres as shown on the Order Plan. TO A LINE From Point A (grid reference 410364 – 270503) running generally northwest to Point C (grid reference 409913 – 270727, a total distance of approximately 513 metres as shown on the Order Plan. The new route shall have a width of 2 metres.

A copy of the Order and the Order Plan have been placed and may be seen free of charge at the offices of Warwickshire County Council, Shire Hall, Market Square, Warwick CV34 4SA from 8am-5.30pm on weekdays, (5pm Fridays) and 9am-4pm Saturdays.

A copy of the Order and Order Plan may be bought there at the price of £5.77. Copies may also be inspected at the offices of the Stratford on Avon District Council, Elizabeth House, Church Street, Stratford upon Avon, CV37 6HX where inspection can take place between 9.00am and 5.00pm Monday to Friday inclusive and online at www.warwickshire. gov.uk/pathorders. Compensation for depreciation or damage for disturbance arising as a result of the coming into force of the Order is payable under section 28 of the Highways Act 1980 Any representations about or objections to the Order may be sent in writing (or email) to the Strategic Director for Communities, P O Box 43, Shire Hall, Warwick CV34 4SX, OR (paths@warwickshire.gov.uk) not later than 1 September 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. Representations or objections may become publicly available and therefore the names and addresses of those persons making representations or objections would also be made publicly available.

If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Warwickshire County Council may confirm the Order as unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.

The new route shall have a width of 2 metres.
