COOMBE AVENUE & REDHILL DRIVE, BOURNEMOUTH –

GAS MAINS REPLACEMENT

TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Council intends to make temporary traffic regulations, with the effects detailed below, to control traffic.

WHAT, WHERE AND WHEN:

The following roads will be closed to all vehicles with no parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time –

Coombe Avenue, from the junction with Coombe Gardens to the junction with Redhill Drive

Redhill Drive, from the junction with Ensbury Court to the junction with Parkside Gardens

Anticipated dates 17th August 2026 until 3rd September 2026

WHY: To facilitate gas mains replacement works by SGN

ACCESS: Full emergency services access will be maintained, access to properties will remain depending on site safety.

DIVERSION: via signed routes

These arrangements may be amended/extended should works overrun or weather conditions delay operations. Restrictions may be in effect under this Order for up to 18 months, and could be further extended with the approval of the Secretary of State.
