Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Old Church Lane, Mountnessing in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Mountnessing Road for a distance of approximately 255m in a north westerly direction.
2. To temporarily close that length of Mountnessing Road, Mountnessing in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with Old Church Lane for a distance of approximately 85m in a south westerly direction.
The closures are scheduled to commence on 25th August 2026 for 15 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC311003WGRHDV5V/BC311004WGRHDV5V – Openreach).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/ or displayed on one.network. The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while duct laying works are undertaken by Openreach.
An alternative route is available via Old Church Lane, Old Church Road, Church Road, Stock Lane, Ingatestone Road, Buttsbury, Mountnessing Road and vice versa or Mountnesing Road, Radford Way, B1007, Ingatestone Road, Buttsbury, Mountnessing Road and vice versa.
The Order will come into effect on 5th August 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Ashwells Road, Pilgrims Hatch in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 225m north west of its junction with Well Lane for a distance of approximately 270m in a north westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th August 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EC30080853119 – UK Power Networks). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while cabling works are undertaken by UK Power Networks.
An alternative route is available via Ongar Road and vice versa (with access only into Ashwells Road and Crow Green Road).
The Order came into effect on 22nd July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Church Lane, Doddinghurst in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 15m north east of its junction with Warren Lane for a distance of approximately 45m in a north easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 11th August 2026 for 4 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06162593JB – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while new connection works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Docklands Avenue, Ingatestone in the Borough of Brentwood, from its junction with High Street for a distance of approximately 60m in a south easterly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 3rd August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (EN013348999 – Essex And Suffolk Water).
The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while interim to permanent reinstatement works are undertaken by Essex And Suffolk Water.

Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Little Warley Hall Lane, Little Warley in the Borough of Brentwood, from a point approximately 235m south of its junction with Magpie Lane for a distance of approximately 545m in a south westerly direction.
The closure is scheduled to commence on 12th August 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGSNMR6J – Openreach Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach Ltd.

(Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily introduce a ‘No Waiting’ No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction in those lengths of road in the Borough of Brentwood as per the schedule.

“The Essex County Council (Brentwood Borough) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019” will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time” restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only.
All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.
The clearways are scheduled to commence on 11th August 2026 for 21 days (08:00-17:00 Monday to Friday only), or where stated on a valid permit.

Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the Borough of Brentwood as specified in the schedule.
2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on that length of road as specified in the schedule. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.
