Island Roads on behalf of The Isle of Wight Council give notice that between Friday 31 July 2026 and Friday 11 August 2026 the following roads / path will be closed at all times for a period of approximately one to ten days within this period, or when the works have been completed, to enable carriageway maintenance, lining and investigation works, and any associated prep works, to be undertaken. No vehicle or person may use or cause any animal to use the following footpaths: and that no vehicle is permitted to wait on the following roads or within 50 metres on any adjoining side road were indicated by traffic signs. These works may include reconstruction, resurfacing works. In some cases, it may be necessary to close these sections of the paths on more than one occasion within this timeframe. Island Roads on behalf of the Isle of Wight Council give notice that from 0700 hours on Saturday 01 August 2026 until 22:00 hours on Sunday 02 August 2026, or when the event has finished, whichever is the sooner. A 30mph speed restriction will be introduced along Military Road from a point of 125 metres west of its junction with Church Place for a distance of 575 metres in a western direction.
