Temporary Prohibition of Traffic Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Footpath 4, Carn Brea for its entire length.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public during works to repair unsafe footbridge. The Order will come into operation on 27th July 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 27th January 2027. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 6th July 2026 for a period of up to 21 days.
Nothing in this Order will apply to traffic associated with the works required within the highway specified above, any vehicle being used for the purposes of an undertaker in an emergency, such as loss of utility supplies and anything done with the permission of or at the discretion of a police officer.

Notice is hereby given that Cornwall Council has made the above Order dated 26th July 2026 in exercise of its powers under section 14(1) of the RTRA 1984 to prohibit the use by traffic over an area of highway being Underlane, Wendron between properties known as Vicarage Lodge and Rame Cottage.
The Council is satisfied that the Order is needed because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to a hole in the road. The Order will come into operation on 27th July 2026 and the works are expected to be completed by the 31st July 2026. The prohibition will be in force 24 hours a day, weekends included.
The road was previously closed for reasons of public safety by notice under Section 14(2) of the RTRA 1984 from the 6th July 2026 for a period of 21 days.
