On 28 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Building Repairs.
No Waiting At Any Time - Lugton Road, Main Street, Newmill Road, Dunlop
Main Street - From No.14 to roundabout both sides of carriageway.
Newmill Road - From rail bridge to roundabout both sides of carriageway
Lugton Road - From No.14 to roundabout both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 10 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The works are expected to commence from 10 August 2026 at 07:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 07 September 2026 at 23:50. Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.

On 28 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (East Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Scottish Power works.

From junction of Maxwood Road to No 64 Cairn View for 65m

Cairn View - From No.76 Cairn View to No.66 for 45m both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 10 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 10 August 2026 at 08:00 until 21 August 2026 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services, residents and deliveries out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Maxwood Road - Sutherland Terrace - Belvedere View and vice versa.

The Order commences on 17 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 17 August 2026 at 08:00 with the restrictions remaining in place until 28 August 2026 at 17:00.
Days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Bolestyle Road, Kirkmichael) (Temporary Road Closure & Prohibition of Waiting) Order 2026
On 23 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the Road Traffic (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (South Ayrshire Council) Designation Order 2012 and the Road Traffic Act 1991 and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to allow Carriageway Resurfacing.
Temporary Road Closure – Bolestyle Road, Kirkmichael From Meadowbank Place to Patna Road for 270m.
No Waiting At Any Time - Bolestyle Road, Kirkmichael
From Meadowbank Place to Patna Road for 270m both sides of carriageway.
The Order commences on 17 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier.
The works are expected to commence from 17 August 2026 at 08:00 until 31 August 2026 at 17:00.
The road is expected to be closed between 08:00 and 17:00 each day with it being open out-with these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via Bolestyle Road, B7045, Straiton Road, Patna Road and vice versa.
SOUTH AYRSHIRE COUNCIL
(Castle Road,Station Road, Dunure) (Temporary One Way Operation and Banned Turns)
Order 2026 On 23 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1)(b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order to hold a Community Event.
Temporary One Way Operation
No Person shall drive or cause or permit to be driven any vehicle in a direction other than in a northbound direction on Castle Road/Station Road, Dunure.
Banned Turns
No vehicle shall turn Right or Left onto Station Road from its junction with A719.Effectively there will be no entry from A719 onto Station Road, Dunure.
Various banned turns within the village to maintain one way system as per signage.
The Order commences on 15 August 2026. The Event Is expected to commence from 15 August 2026 at 07:00 until 15 August 2026 at 20:00.
The Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency Services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ out-with the event zone will be maintained.
An alternative route will be signed via A719-Castle Road- Station Road-A719.

On 23 July 2026 the Council, in exercise of the powers conferred on it under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and of all other enabling powers, made the above-named Order, to allow Scottish Power Works.
Temporary Road Closure – Thornyflat Road, Ayr - Whitletts
From No.1 to junction with Dalmilling Road and junction with Main Road / High Road (50m).
The Order commences on 10 August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the works are completed, whichever is earlier. The works are expected to commence from 10 August 2026 at 08:00 until 21 August 2026 at 17:00.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the Order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Access for Emergency Services ,residents and deliveries and out-with the working zone will be maintained via diversion route.
An alternative route will be signed via Thornyflat Road, Westwood Avenue, Mainholm Road, Dalmilling Road, Whitletts Road, Main Road.
