TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 Southampton City Council intends to make the above Order.
- The effect of the Order will be to close Earls Road at its junction with Lodge Road, northwards for 20m.
- The Order is required because works are being or are proposed to be executed on or near the road. These works are for a water leak.
- The alternative route will be Lodge Road, Spear Road, Avenue Road.
- The Order will come into force on 10th August 2026 and has a maximum duration of 18 months or until the completion of the works, whichever is sooner. It is expected that the works will be completed by 14th August 2026.
