BIRMINGHAM CITY COUNCIL
(RIDGEWAY ETC, NORTH EDGBASTON) (20MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2026
NOTICE is hereby given that the above named Council have made an Order under Sections, 84(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and of all other enabling powers the effect of which will be as follows:
To introduce a 20mph Speed limit on RIDGEWAY, WADHURST ROAD and BERNARD ROAD, NORTH EDGBASTON
The Order will come into operation on 31st July 2026.
A copy of the Order together with the plans and a statement of the Council’s reasons will be made available on request. (Contact Marie Brown Tel: 07824 694255: email: marie.brown@ birmingham.gov.uk)
If any person wishes to question the validity of this Order or of any of the provisions contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Act or on the grounds that any requirements of the Act or any instrument made under it has not been complied with in relation to this Order may within 6 weeks from the 30th July 2026 apply to the High Court for this purpose.
