Rochdale - Multiple Road Traffic Notices

((CIVIL ENFORCEMENT OF TRAFFIC CONTRAVENTIONS)
(VARIOUS STREETS) (PENNINES TOWNSHIP) ORDER 2008)
(AMENDMENT) (NO. 102) ORDER 2026
Various Streets, Pennines

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rochdale Borough Council, in exercise of its powers under Sections 1(1), 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, intend to make an Order, the effect of which would be to:- 

(i) Amend the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008, by inserting the following:-

Schedule No. 9.18 On Street Permit Parking Place (24 hours) Peel Street, Littleborough Lakeside Ward
n(i) the northerly side from a point 31 metres south-west of its junction with Morgan Street for a distance of 6 metres in a south-westerly direction

Leyfield Road, Smallbridge & Firgrove Ward
n(i) the southerly side from a point 47 metres west of its junction with Brakehouse Close for a distance of 6 metres in a westerly direction

Featherstall Road, Wardle Shore & West Littleborough Ward
n(i) the northerly side from a point 93 metres south-east of its junction with Whitelees Road for a distance of 5.5 metres in a south-easterly direction(ii) Revoke that part of the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008, as follows:-

Schedule No. 9.18
On Street Permit Parking Place (24 hours)
Featherstall Road, Wardle Shore & West Littleborough Ward
n(i) the southerly side from a point 40 metres north-east of its junction with Albion Street for a distance of 6 metres in a north-easterly direction

A copy of the proposed Order and plans showing the lengths of roads concerned, together with a Statement of Reasons for making the Order, may be viewed on the Council's website www.rochdale.gov.uk/roads, or by phoning Highways on 0300 303 8879 to request a copy via post. 

Any objections or representations regarding the proposed Order, stating the grounds on which they are made, must be given in writing to trafficorders@rochdale.gov.uk or, alternatively, posted to Network Management, Floor 2, Number One Riverside, Smith Street, Rochdale, OL16 1XU to reach the Council on or before 19th August 2026, quoting reference H60/1308-26/PEN.

This proposed Order will also amend the Borough of Rochdale (Civil Enforcement of Traffic Contraventions) (Various Streets) (Pennines Township) Order 2008 by way of the following:-

(i) Insertion of a new Item 'Schedule No. 2.34 - No Waiting 6am-8pm'; and,

(ii) Insertion of a new Item 'Schedule 5.30 - No Loading 6am-8pm'.
