Mae angen y Gorchymyn ar gyfer gwaith ar ran Dŵr Cymru. Yn anffodus, nid oes gwyriad addas ar gael, fodd bynnag bydd mynediad ar gael i drigolion.
Daw’r Gorchymyn i rym ar yr 17eg o Awst 2026 a bydd yn parhau mewn grym am gyfnod na fydd hwy na thair mis neu hyd nes y cwblheir y gwaith y bwriedir ei wneud ar y ffordd, pa un bynnag fyddo gyntaf. Ar hyn o bryd disgwylir y gellir cwblhau’r gwaith o fewn tua 84 diwrnod.

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 14(1) AS AMENDED BY THE ROAD TRAFFIC
(TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991
THE GWYNEDD COUNCIL
(UNCLASSIFIED ROAD KNOWN AS MAES GERDDI, PORTHMADOG)
(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Gwynedd Council intend not less than seven days from the date hereof to make an Order, the effect of which will be to prohibit any person from causing any vehicle to proceed in either direction along that length of Unclassified Road known as Maes Gerddi, Porthmadog from a point opposite 39 Maes Gerddi travelling north westerly for a distance of approximately 70 metres.
The Order is necessary for works on behalf of Welsh Water.
Unfortunately, there is no suitable alternative route, however access will be maintained for residents.
The Order comes into effect on the 17th of August, 2026 and will continue in force for a period not exceeding three months or until the work which it is proposed to carry out on the road is completed, whichever is the earlier. At this stage it is anticipated that the work will be completed within approximately 84 days.
