HYSBYSIR DRWY HYN bod CYNGOR SIR FYNWY ar 11 Chwefror 2026 wedi gwneud Gorchymyn dan A14 (1) (b) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984, a ddaeth i rym ar 11 Chwefror 2026. Mae’r gorchymyn wedi parhau mewn grym a byddai fel arall wedi dod i ben ar 11 Awst 2026 pe na byddai estyniad wedi ei roi.
Cafodd y Gorchymyn ei ymestyn dan awdurdod y Dirprwy Weinidog Trafnidiaeth yn gweithredu dan awdurdod y Gweinidog Cabinet dros Fenter, Cysylltedd ac Ynni, un o Weinidogion Cymru, hyd at ac yn cynnwys 10 Chwefror 2027 dan Adran 15 (5) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 (fel y’i diwygiwyd gan Ddeddf Traffig Ffyrdd (Cyfyngiadau Dros Dro) 1991).
Effaith y Gorchymyn oedd cau dros dro y llwybr troed fel a nodir uchod ac fel a ddangosir ar gynllun y gorchymyn. Gwnaed y gorchymyn a’r estyniad i’r gorchymyn oherwydd tebygolrwydd perygl i’r cyhoedd.
Drwy rinwedd Adran 16(1) Deddf Rheoleiddio Traffig Ffyrdd 1984 bydd person sy’n torri cyfyngiad neu waharddiad a osodwyd dan Adran 14 y Ddeddf yn euog o drosedd.

SECTION 14(1)(b) - ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
PUBLIC FOOTPATH 7 (PART) ABERGAVENNY RURAL ALSO KNOWN AS FOOTPATH 12 (PART) ABERGAVENNY TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on 11th February 2026 MONMOUTHSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL made an Order under S14 (1) (b) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, whichcame into effect on 11th February 2026. The order has continued in force and wouldotherwise expire on 11th August 2026 if the direction for an extension had not been given.
The Order has been extended under the authority of the Deputy Minister for Transport, acting under the authority of the Cabinet Minister for Enterprise, Connectivity and Energy, one of the Welsh Ministers, until and including 10th February 2027 under Section 15 (5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended by the Road Traffic (TemporaryRestrictions) Act 1991).
The effect of the Order was to temporarily close the footpath as set out above and as indicated on the order plan. The order and extension to the order has been made due to the likelihood of danger to the public.
By virtue of Section 16(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 a person whocontravenes a restriction or prohibition imposed under Section 14 of the Act shall be guiltyof an offence.
