Castle Hill - Temporary Road Closure To Long Comm Pipe Installation
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE CASTLE HILL, DUFFIELD
WHEN: 18 August to 21 August 2026.
WHERE: Castle Hill, Duffield, outside No. 12.
REASON: To facilitate long comm pipe installation.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Castle Hill, A6, Avenue Road, Hazelwood Road, King Street and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
