What is happening?

TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE
HILLSIDE LANE, WEST END, BRASSINGTON
WHEN: 14 August to 21 August 2026 (between 08:00 to 16:00 each working day)
WHERE: Hillside Lane, West End, Brassington for a distance of 600m south west from Jct. with Jaspers Lane.
REASON: To facilitate carriageway patching.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Jaspers Lane, Church Street, Well Street, West End and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road. The road will re-open as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised. Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
