Main Road, Wyaston - Temporary Road Closure To New Electricity Connections
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE MAIN ROAD, WYASTON
WHEN: 17 August to 21 August 2026
WHERE: Main Road, Wyaston between Jct. with Orchard Lane and Ivy House.
REASON: To facilitate new electricity connections.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Edlaston Lane, Collycroft Hill, A515 , Hales Green, Main Road and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
