Findern Lane - Temporary Road Closure To Manhole Replace
What is happening?
DERBYSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE FINDERN LANE, WILLINGTON
WHEN: 18 August 2026 (08:00 to 18:00)
WHERE: Findern Lane, Willington between Mercia Marina and Dale Farm.
REASON: To facilitate manhole replace.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Findern Lane, Willington Road, Heath Lane, Main Street, The Green, Doles Lane, Burton Road, Etwall Road, A50, Burton Road, and vice versa.
Access will be maintained, whenever reasonably possible, on the affected length of road.
The road will reopen as soon as the work is finished. This may be earlier than advertised.
Anyone needing further information should ring Call Derbyshire on 01629 533190. The County Council intends to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) to prohibit its use by traffic.
