THE BOROUGH COUNCIL OF BOLTON

ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 S.14

The Council intends to make an order, operative on 3 August 2026 for 16 weeks approx, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on sections of Manchester Road – the parts under/adjacent to the St Peters Way overpasses at/adjacent to Smiths Road. Smiths Road will also be restricted to one-way traffic as part of this scheme. This is to allow structural repair works to take place. Full details on our website.

The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
