THE WOLVERHAMPTON CITY COUNCIL
(HORSELEY FIELDS) (TEMPORARY
PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2026
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Wolverhampton
City Council propose to make an Order under Section
14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as
substituted by the Road Traffic (Temporary
Restrictions) Act 1991, prohibiting vehicles from
proceeding on the following stretch of road:
· Right hand turn from Horseley Fields onto Union
Mill Street suspended. Vehicular Diversion Route:
Horseley Fields, Corn Hill and Albion Street.
The Order may operate for a maximum period of
eighteen months, but it is anticipated that the works will
be undertaken from 7th August 2026 until 14th August
2026.
The Order is required to facilitate the installation of HV
electricity ducting by National Grid (Electricity
Distribution).
