A229 Cranbrook Road, Hawkhurst, TN18 4BJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow resurfacing repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A229 Cranbrook Road, Hawkhurst, on or after 7th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with A268 High Street and the junction with Ockley Road, between the hours of 19:00 and 07:00 hours only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

A229 The Common, Sissinghurst, TN17 2HT (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of A229 The Common, Sissinghurst, on or after 20th August 2026 for up to 1 night or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between property named Totlands and property named Oaklands, between the hours of 19:30 and 05:30 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Barden Road, Bidborough, TN3 0LJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Barden Road, Bidborough, on or after 6th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 80 metres South of the entrance to Realm Park. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Barden Road, B2176 Penshurst Road, Poundsbridge Lane, Poundsbridge, Penshurst Road, Speldhurst Hill, Barden Road and vice versa.

Broadwater Down, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN2 5LG (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING & PROHIBITION OF PARKING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow gas mains replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic and parking on part of Broadwater Down, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 3rd August 2026 for up to 78 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed and parking prohibited from the junction of Eridge Road to outside property number 39. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Broadwater Down, A267 Frant Road, A267 Nevill Street, A26 Eridge Road and vice versa.

Bubhurst Lane, Frittenden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow permanent reinstatement of concrete plinth works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bubhurst Lane, Frittenden, on or after 17th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Hollin Root Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.

Dingleden Farm Road, Iden Green (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dingleden Farm Road, Iden Green, on or after 4th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Barnhill Cottage. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.

Dynevor Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, TN4 9HA (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Dynevor Road, Royal Tunbridge Wells, on or after 21st August 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between property number 62 and property number 52. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Woodland Road, Silverdale Road, Denbigh Road and vice versa.

Erskine Park Road, Rusthall, TN4 8UB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow new gas service connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Erskine Park Road, Rusthall, on or after 17th August 2026 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 111. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Erskine Park Road, Ashley Gardens, Ashley Park, Manor Road and vice versa.

Hayesden Lane, Bidborough (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Hayesden Lane, Bidborough, on or after 6th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 160 metres North of the junction with Penshurst Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Hayesden Lane, Upper Hayesden Lane, Brook Street, A26 Quarry Hill Road, A26 London Road, B2176 Bidborough Ridge, B2176 Penshurst Road, Hayesden Lane and vice versa.

Ladham Road, Goudhurst, TN17 1LX (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow tree cutting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ladham Road, Goudhurst, on or after 6th August 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Jarvis Lane, for a distance approximately 556 metres in a South Direction. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ladham Road, Jarvis Lane, B2084 Chequers Road and vice versa.

Ladys Gift Road, Southborough, TN4 0LQ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ladys Gift Road, Southborough, on or after 21st August 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed to the side of property numbers 70 to 72. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ladys Gift Road, Kibbles Lane, Speldhurst Road and vice versa.

Manor Road, Southborough, TN4 0JF (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow frame and cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Manor Road, Southborough, on or after 6th August 2026 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from property number 36 to property number 59. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Manor Road, Kibbles Lane and vice versa.

Marle Place Road, Horsmonden, TN12 8DS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow underground service cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Marle Place Road, Horsmonden, on or after 3rd August 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Highlands Oast. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Marle Place Road, Ruck Lane, B2162 Lamberhurst Road and vice versa.

Mill Street, Iden Green, TN17 4HJ (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow telegraph pole replacement and associated cable rehanging works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Mill Street, Iden Green, on or after 4th August 2026 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed approximately 30 metres North of the entrance to Turks Retreat. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Nineveh Lane, Benenden (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow drainage repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Nineveh Lane, Benenden, on or after 17th August 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Forest Farm. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Attwaters Lane, Water Lane, A229 Hawkhurst Road, A229 Hartley Road, B2086 Swattenden Lane, B2086 Benenden Road, B2086 Cranbrook Road, Babbs Lane, Spring Lane, Nineveh Lane and vice versa.

Ockley Road, Hawkhurst, TN18 4DY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ockley Road, Hawkhurst, on or after 3rd August 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of property named Pinners. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ockley Road, A229 Cranbrook Road, Heartenoak Road and vice versa.

Ockley Road, Hawkhurst, TN18 4DY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow new water main connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ockley Road, Hawkhurst, on or after 17th August 2026 for up to 47 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in its entirety. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ockley Road, Winchester Road, A229 Cranbrook Road and vice versa.

Pembury Hall Road & Half Moon Lane, Capel, TN11 0PS (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow new electric connection ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Pembury Hall Road & Half Moon Lane, Capel, on or after 3rd August 2026 for up to 143 days or until the works have been completed.

Pembury Hall Road will be closed from outside property named Kenward to the junction with Half Moon Lane. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Half Moon Lane will be closed between Dislingbury Farm and Knowles Bank Lodge. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Ridgeway, Pembury, TN2 4EB (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow electric cable installation works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Ridgeway, Pembury, on or after 17th August 2026 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Knights Close to the junction with Lower Green Road. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ridgeway, Lower Green Road and vice versa.

Stone Court Lane, Pembury, TN2 4DE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow stopcock replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Stone Court Lane, Pembury, on or after 19th August 2026 for up to 2 nights or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of property number 10, between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternative route for any through traffic. Access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.

Victoria Road, Southborough, TN4 0LP (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2026

To allow investigation, CCTV and jetting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Victoria Road, Southborough, on or after 17th August 2026 for up to 19 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from outside Path to outside number 3, between the hours of 09:00 and 16:00 only. To the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Victoria Road, A26 London Road, A26 St Johns Road, Speldhurst Road, Etherington Hill, Stockland Green Road, Bentham Hill, Victoria Road and vice versa.
