Binsted Road, Binsted, East Hampshire - Temporary Road Closure due to pole testing
What is happening?
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Hampshire County Council intends to make an order under S.14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, to allow works to be carried out on or near the road.
ROAD TO BE CLOSED: that part of Binsted Road between a point 350 metres East of its junction with Wheatley Lane and continuing to a point 980 metres East on Binsted Road.
ALTERNATIVE ROUTE: Binsted Road, Frith End Road, A325, B3004, Mill Lane, London Road, The Street.
DURATION OF ORDER: from Monday 10th August 2026 for a period of 6 months or until completion of the works whichever is sooner. (Notwithstanding, it is expected that the closure will be required for no longer than 1 day working between the hours 09:30-15:30).
The Temporary Road Closure has been granted by Hampshire County Council to facilitate works for Openreach to complete pole testing. If there are any queries or enquires regarding this Order please contact: surveys@sunbeltrentals.co.uk.
