Temporary Road Closure

North Road, Kew

(Reference 26/125)

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate Vegetation Removal and Structural Examination works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in North Road, Kew.
  2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in North Road, Kew from the Junction with High Park Avenue to a point outside numbers 97-101 North Road, Kew.
  3. The order will come into effect 30 July 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress from 30 July 2026 to 31 July 2026 the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
  4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via High Park Avenue, Mortlake Road, West Park Road, and vice versa.
  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
  6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

    (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

    (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

  7. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer cover replacement works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Park Road, Hampton Wick.
  2. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Park Road, Hampton Wick outside number 14.
  3. The order will come into effect 04 August 2026 These works are anticipated to be in progress on the 04 August 2026 only. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
  4. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via St John’s Road, Church Grove Park Road.
  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
  6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

    (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

    (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate external building maintenance works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Riverview Gardens, Barnes.
  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in the bays outside numbers 1 to 36 Riverview Gardens the suspension will take place on a rolling basis as indicated by signs.
  3. The order will come into effect on 03 August 2026. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 03 August 2026 to 27 July 2027. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
  4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
  5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in the roads detailed in the schedule, between the dates indicated. The parking restrictions and road closures will operate on a rolling basis.

  1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement works they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Waldegrave Road, Twickenham.
  2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Waldegrave Road from the Junction with Strawberry Hill Road to the Junction with Waldegrave Gardens.
  3. There will also be parking restrictions in place in Waldegrave Road, Twickenham which will operate on a rolling basis from the Junction with Strawberry Hill Road to the Junction with Waldegrave Gardens.
  4. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2026. The restrictions will be in force at all times from 27 July until 09 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.
  5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.
