SECTION 14 AS AMENDED

THE ROAD TRAFFIC (TEMPORARY RESTRICTIONS) ACT 1991

AND ALL OTHER ENABLING POWERS

CAROLINA ROAD, THORNTON HEATH

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate gas main replacement work, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements on Carolina Road, Thornton Heath.

2. Whilst the said work is taking place closures will apply on the following sections of road.

3. During the works the diversion routes for vehicular traffic will be as detailed below.

• Carolina Road closure (from Green Lane to Brickfield Road) – Via Green Lane, Georgia Road, and Brickfield Road or via Green Lane, Northwood Road, and Brickfield Road.
• Carolina Road closure (from Brickfield Road to Springfield Road) – Via Brickfield Road, Georgia Road, and Springfield Road, or via Brickfield Road, Northwood Road, Springfield Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 27 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the works will be completed as detailed above. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required. The prohibitions will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) a vehicle involved in carrying out the said works.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

CRAIGNISH AVENUE, NORBURY

TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate remedial works on behalf of Thames Water they have made an Order the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic movements on Craignish Avenue.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place Craignish Avenue will be closed between its junction with London Road and the eastern boundary of No. 1348 London Road.

3. During the closure the alternative routes for traffic will be as detailed below.

• Via St Helen's Road, Norbury Crescent, Strathyre Avenue and Dalmeny Avenue.
• Via Strathyre Avenue, Dalmeny Avenue and reversed.

4. The Order will come into operation on 23 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed within two days. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in carrying out the said work.

(b) a vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.

FARLEY ROAD, SOUTH CROYDON

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC & PARKING

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate resurfacing works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict vehicular traffic and parking in Farley Road, South Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place:

(a) Farley Road will be closed between its junctions with Addington Road and Queenshill Road.

(b) Parking in the above section of Farley Road will be suspended during waiting and loading restrictions will apply.

3. During the closure, traffic will be diverted as detailed below. Residents' access will be maintained.

• Via St Peters Road, Coombe Road, Coombe Lane, Gravel Hill, Selsdon Park Road, and Addington Road and reversed.
• Via Addington Road, Upper Selsdon Road, Selsdon Road, Sussex Road, and Selsdon Road.
• Via Barlett Street, Brighton Road, South End, Coombe Road, Coombe Lane, Gravel Hill, Selsdon Park Road, and Addington Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 27 July 2026, and it is anticipated that the work will be completed on 28 August 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The restrictions shall not apply in respect of:

(a) A vehicle involved in the said work.

(b) A vehicle being used for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles to a section of road to which the order applies.

TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC

1. Croydon Council HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that to facilitate utility connection works, they have made an Order the effect of which would be to temporarily restrict traffic in Primrose Lane, Croydon.

2. Whilst the said works are taking place the road will be closed outside No. 261 Primrose Lane.

3. During the closure, the diversion route for traffic will be via Primrose Lane, A215, Shirley Road, and Wickham Road.

4. The Order will come into operation on 27 July 2026 and it is anticipated that the works will be completed on 08 August 2026. However, the Order will remain in force for 18 months to be reintroduced should further work be required.

5. The prohibition will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.

6. The restriction shall not apply in respect of:

(a) any vehicle involved in conducting the said work

(b) a vehicle attending for fire brigade, ambulance, or police purposes, or the purposes of a statutory undertaker in an emergency, such as the loss of supplies of gas, electricity, or water to premises in the area, which necessitates the bringing of vehicles into a section of road to which the order applies.

(c) anything done with the permission of a police constable in uniform or a Civil Enforcement Officer.
