ANNIVERSARY) ORDER 2026

High Street Hampton, Hampton.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames hereby gives notice that on 21 July 2026 they made the above-named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

2. The general effect of the Order is to facilitate the holding of an Anniversary Party at the Jolly Gardiners Public house in High Street, Hampton.

3. From 9am on Saturday 25 July 2026 until 11.59pm.

   No person may permit a vehicle to wait or stand in High Street Hampton from the junction with Station Road to the junction with Mount Mews

4. Nothing in this Order will apply to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes

5. The prohibitions or restrictions specified in this notice will apply only during such times and to such extent as indicated by traffic signs prescribed by the Traffic Signs Regulations and General Directions 2016.

6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

Temporary Waiting Restrictions

Edwin Road, Twickenham.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate development works, they intend to make a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Edwin Road, Twickenham.

2. The existing end parking bay located next to lamp column 003 will be removed and the double yellow lines will be extended by 5 metres the remaining permit holder bays use will be changed to business permit holder only.

3. The pavement will be closed from Greggs Cafe entrance next to lamp column 003 eastwards for a distance of 20 metres to the end of the parking bays.

4. The order will come into effect on 30 July 2026. The order will be in force at all times the order will remain in force for a period of 18 months or until the works completed should this date be sooner.

5. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

6. Nothing in the Order applies to:

   (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service utility vehicle;

   (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

   (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

Temporary Road Closure

Grena Gardens, Richmond.

1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate electrical works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Grena Gardens, Richmond.

   1. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Grena Gardens, at the junction with Grena Road.

   2. Whilst the works take place, an alternative route for diverted traffic will be available via Grena Road, Manor Gardens, Adelaide Road and vice versa.

   3. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress at all times from 27 July 2026 to 29 July 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

   4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

   5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

      (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service utility vehicle;

      (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

      (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

   (SPECIAL EVENTS) HIGH TIDE FESTIVAL) ORDER 2026

   ARRAGON ROAD AND CHURCH STREET, TWICKENHAM

   (Reference 26/134)

   1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames hereby gives notice that on 20 July 2026 they made the above-named Order under Section 16A of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.

   2. The general effect of the Order is to facilitate the holding of a music festival in Twickenham.

   3. From 9am until 11.59pm on Sunday 26 July 2026,

      (a) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to enter or proceed in Arragon Road between its junctions with York Street and Church Street.

      (b) no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed in Church Street between its junctions with Water Lane and Arragon Road.

      (c) Riverside, Twickenham open from 9am to Midnight.

      (d) Church Lane Car Park closed all day.

      (e) York House Car Park closed all day from 24-27 July 2026.

   4. A signed diversion route for traffic affected by the closures will be available in adjacent streets.

   5. Nothing in this Order will apply to:

      (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

      (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

      (b) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

      Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate sewer repair works, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce a temporary prohibition of traffic in Lower Sunbury Road, Hampton.

      1. Whilst the work takes place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to proceed, wait or stand in Lower Sunbury Road, Hampton at the junction with Upper Sunbury Road.

      2. The order will come into effect 27 July 2026. These works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 July to 09 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

      3. Whilst the closure is in place an alternative route for traffic will be via Lower Sunbury Road, Lower Hampton Road, Harefield Road, Staines Road East, Upper Sunbury Road and vice versa.

      4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

      5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

         (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

         (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

         (c) any vehicle being used for Police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.

      6. Any vehicle waiting in contravention of any restriction imposed by the Order may be removed under the provisions of the Removal and Disposal of Vehicles Regulations 1986.

      1. The Council of the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that to facilitate construction works & Deliveries, they have made a temporary Traffic Order, the effect of which will be to introduce temporary prohibition of traffic in Meadlands Drive, Petersham.

      2. Whilst the works take place no person shall cause or permit any vehicle to wait or stand in Meadlands drive on the northern side of the road from the Junction with Sandy Lane (side of number 58 Sandy Lane) to a point opposite number 96 Meadlands Drive, Petersham.

      3. The order will come into effect on 27 July 2026. The works are anticipated to be in progress from 27 July 2026 until 07 August 2026. The order will remain in force for a period of 18 months, to allow for unexpected events and possible remedial works.

      4. The prohibitions apply only during such time and to such extent as indicated by prescribed traffic signs.

      5. Nothing in the Order applies to:

         (a) any vehicle being used in connection with the execution of the said works or any public service or utility vehicle;

         (b) anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police officer in uniform or a civil enforcement officer; or

         (c) any vehicle being used for police, fire brigade or ambulance purposes.
