TEMPORARY ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 SECTION 14 (AS AMENDED)
Notice is hereby given that the City Council intends, in not less than seven days from the date of this Notice, to make the following Temporary Road Traffic Order(s):
ORDER NO. MCC 151205710: The City of Manchester (Cliffdale Drive, Crumpsall Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular traffic on Cliffdale Drive from Bank Road to Willow hill Road. The alternative routes for traffic will be: Bank Road, Kearsley Road. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Replacement gas mains. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 10th August 2026 to 24th August 2026. The order shall come into operation on 10th August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period. Dated: 28th July 2026.

MCC00 0 151247164: The City of Manchester (Greenheys Lane West, Hulme Ward) (Temporary Prohibition of Pedestrian & Vehicular Traffic) Order 2026 under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to prohibit vehicular and pedestrian traffic on Greenheys Lane West, Hulme Ward, From Princess Road to Greenheys Lane West. The alternative routes for pedestrian and vehicular traffic will be: Princess Road, Mancunian Way. The City Council is satisfied that this prohibition is necessary in order to facilitate Antennas upgrade. It is expected that the works will be in progress from 10th August 2026 to 15th August 2026 between the hours of 22:30 and 05:00. The order shall come into operation on the 10th August 2026 and may remain in force for a maximum period of eighteen months. If all necessary works are completed within a shorter period, the Order shall cease to have effect at the end of that shorter period.
