THE BARNET (CHARGED-FOR PARKING PLACES) (AMENDMENT NO.*) ORDER 20**

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Barnet propose to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 51 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers.

In order to accommodate the introduction of ‘dropped kerb’ vehicle crossovers to enable access to off-street parking facilities, the general effect of the Orders would also be to remove existing parking spaces and replace with yellow line waiting restrictions outside the locations as follows:

In order to improve the resident parking provision on street at Southbourne Avenue NW9 during the restricted hours of operation of the Burnt Oak Controlled Parking Zone, the general effect of the orders would be to convert a length of waiting restriction operating 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday into a resident permit holder only parking bay (2 wheels on the footway) operating 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday outside No.46/48 Southbourne Avenue NW9.

Statement of Reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be obtained, inclusive for a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, by emailing parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk or by writing to the Design Team, Highways Section, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, London NW9 4EW.

Any person wishing to object to or comment on the proposed Orders should send a written statement explaining their objection/comments, and quoting reference number SCR715 (Xovers), to the Design Team, London Borough of Barnet, 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale NW9 4EW, via the Barnet TrafficWeb website or via email to parking.consultations@barnet.gov.uk within 21 days of the date of this Notice.
