Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1), 4(2), 9, 10, 32(1), 35(1),45, 46, 49, 53 and Parts III and IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended).

Effect of the order:
1. To Revoke: Disabled Badge Holders Only

2. To Revoke Resident Parking Area A (Mon-Sat, 8:00am – 8:00pm)/To implement: Disabled Badge Holders Only

Application to the high court: Anyone who wishes to question the validity of the Order or any provision contained in it on the grounds that it is not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act, or any instrument made under it, has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from the date of the making of the Order apply to the High Court for this purpose.

(Epping New Road, Buckhurst Hill) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Epping New Road, Buckhurst Hill in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Hills Road to its junction with Boleyn Court a distance of approximately 105m.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 20th August 2026 for 1 night (1900-0400), or where stated on a valid permit (EP10000016900 – Essex County Council).

The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while bollard installation works are undertaken by Essex County Council.

An alternative route is available via: High Road, Woodford New Road, Church Hill, Lower Road, Goldings Hill, Wake Arms Roundabout, Epping New Road, Robin Hood Roundabout and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(Hobbs Cross Road, Theydon Garnon) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hobbs Cross Road, Theydon Garnon in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 165m south west of its junction with Mount Road for a distance of approximately 105m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 25th August 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGQVM28Y – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Lippitts Hill, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Lippitts Hill, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 65m south east of its junction with Rose Court for a distance of approximately 50m in a south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 27th August 2026 for 2 days, or where stated on a valid permit (BC411001WGTTT39M – Openreach). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pole replacement works are undertaken by Openreach.

(Oak Lodge Avenue/Manor Road, Chigwell) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Oak Lodge Avenue, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Manor Road for a distance of approximately 40m in a south easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Manor Road, Chigwell in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Oak Lodge Avenue for a distance of approximately 30m in a north easterly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 25th August 2026 for 1 day, or where stated on a valid permit (YN10068230-R5028368-JW2/YN10068230-R5028368-JW – T Mobile). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while maintenance works are undertaken by T Mobile.

(Pytt Field, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Pytt Field, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point approximately 100m south west then south east then south west of its junction with Second Avenue for a distance of approximately 20m in a south westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX06163035PW – Affinity Water). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while pipe replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water.

(Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Sewardstone Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Farm Hill Road for a distance of approximately 30m in a southerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2026 for 14 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU093MCW-0739494 – Thames Water Utilities). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while repair works are undertaken by Thames Water Utilities.

An alternative route is available via: Sewardstone Road, A121, B194, Crooked Mile and vice versa.

The Order will come into effect on 30th July 2026 and may continue in force for 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the earlier.

(The Hides, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of The Hides, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point approximately 195m south west of the junction with Maddox Road for a distance of approximately 285m in a north westerly, south westerly then south easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 24th August 2026 for 19 days, or where stated on a valid permit (AZ5011001519490 – Cadent Gas). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while gas mains replacement works are undertaken by Cadent Gas.

An alternative route is available via: The Hides and vice versa.

(Various Roads, District of Epping Forest) - (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic & Temporary Introduction of a Clearway) Order (No.10) 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council intends, not less than seven days from the date of this notice to make the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of road in the District of Epping Forest as specified in the schedule.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. All other restrictions and exemptions contained in the aforementioned Order and Amendments to that Order shall remain in force.

The works being undertaken will take place within an 18-month period from 30th July 2026; exact dates will be specified on one.Network. This road will be closed to facilitate each phase of works and then re-opened to the public.

Access will be maintained for emergency services.

Diversion route will be signed at each location, and residents will be informed of the dates of each phase via letter/leaflet drop and advanced warning signs on the road.

(Bury Road, Waltham Abbey) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Bury Road, Waltham Abbey in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Hornbeam Lane for a distance of approximately 125m in a north westerly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th August 2026 for 5 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MU273_REHAB2627_0192 – Thames Water Utilities Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network. The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while sewer rehabilitation works are undertaken by Thames Water Utilities Limited.

An alternative route is available clockwise via: A112, Avey Lane, A104, A1069, Bury Road (with access only into Bury Road) and vice versa.

(Hoe Lane, Nazeing) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order: To temporarily close that length of Hoe Lane, Nazeing in the District of Epping Forest, from its junction with Palmers Grove for a distance of approximately 90m in a north easterly direction.

The closure is scheduled to commence on 10th August 2026 for 2 nights (2000-0500), or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410286872 – Affinity Water Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closure is required for the safety of the public and workforce while water main repair works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.

An alternative route is available via: Betts Lane, Nazeing Common, Common Road, Epping Road, Tylers Road, Hamlet Hill, Sedge Green, Pecks Hill, North Street, Middle Street (with access only into Hoe Lane) and vice versa.

(Langston Road, Loughton) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Langston Road, Loughton in the District of Epping Forest, from a point approximately 60m north east of its junction with Lenthall Road for a distance of approximately 205m in a north easterly direction.

2. A temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping’ restriction will be introduced on both sides of carriageway on the above length of road for the duration of the closures to facilitate the works. Signs will be installed indicating when the No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping restriction will be in force.

"The Essex County Council (Epping Forest District) (Prohibition of Waiting, Loading and Stopping) and (On Street Parking Places) (Civil Enforcement Area) Consolidation Order 2019" will be temporarily amended to include the temporary ‘No Waiting, No Loading and No Stopping at Any Time’ restriction and suspend any existing parking and waiting restrictions on the above length of road only. (Sheering Road/Churchgate Street, Harlow) (Temporary Prohibition of Traffic) Order 2026
Notice is hereby given that the Essex County Council has made the above Order under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
Effect of the order:
1. To temporarily close that length of Sheering Road, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from a point approximately 9m east of its junction with Drakes Meadow for a distance of approximately 20m in an easterly direction.

2. To temporarily close that length of Churchgate Street, Harlow in the District of Harlow, from its junction with Sheering Road for a distance of approximately 35m in a southerly direction.

The closures are scheduled to commence on 10th August 2026 for 3 days, or where stated on a valid permit (MX04410307982/MX04410307982 – Affinity Water Limited). The scheduled dates may vary for these works with appropriate signs showing and/or displayed on one.network.

The closures are required for the safety of the public and workforce while chamber installation and cover replacement works are undertaken by Affinity Water Limited.
