THE WALTHAM FOREST (GARDEN GAS)
(HIGHAM HILL ROAD E17) (TEMPORARY MEASURES), (NO. 1) ORDER 2026
The Council of the LBWF HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that on 23rd July 2026 it made an Order for gas mains replacement works by Cadent Gas in a safe and efficient manner, in Higham Hill Rd E17.
The general effect of the Order will be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, in Higham Hill Rd:
(a) between Billet Rd and Hecham Close
(i) to prohibit motor vehicles from entering, waiting or loading for any purpose, at any time; and
(ii) to suspend any designated "controlled parking spaces".
(i) to suspend bus stops outside Nos. 431–437 and outside No. 347 Higham Hill Rd.
The Order will come into operation on 27th July 2026 and will be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 3 months, however the Order has been entered to allow for contingencies.
THE WALTHAM FOREST (THAMES WATER)
(STANLEY ROAD E4) (TEMPORARY INSTALLATION) (NO. 1) ORDER 2026
The Council of the LBWF HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to enable lead service pipe relays works to be carried out by Thames Water in a safe and efficient manner, in Stanley Rd E4.
The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, in Stanley Rd, between its junctions with Station Road and Cross Road;
(a) to prohibit motor vehicles from entering, waiting or loading for any purpose, at "any time"; and
(b) to suspend any designated controlled parking spaces.
The Order would come into operation on 3rd August 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 6 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 1 month, however the Order has been entered to allow for contingencies.
THE WALTHAM FOREST (FOREST DRIVE IG8)
(ERITH CONNECT LTD) (TEMPORARY MEASURES) (NO. 1) ORDER 2026
The Council of the LBWF HEREBY GIVES NOTICE that it intends on making an Order to enable installation works of a new water and electricity connection to be carried out by Erith Connect Ltd, in a safe and efficient manner in Forest Drive IG8.
The general effect of the Order would be, only at such times and to such extent as regulatory signs are displayed, in Forest Drive, to prohibit motor vehicles from entering, waiting or loading for any purpose, at "any time" (on both sides), outside Nos. 45 to 50 Forest Drive.
Access and egress will be maintained when safe to do so.
The Order would come into operation on 30th July 2026 and would be valid for a maximum period of 3 months or until the works are completed, whichever is the sooner.

NOTE: The works are expected to be completed within 14 days, however the Order has been entered to allow for contingencies.
The restrictions mentioned above would not apply for any to any vehicle being used:
(a) in connection with the said works; or
(b) for ambulance, fire brigade or police purposes (if the works allow).
NOTE: Signage will be placed in advance of any works in the above-mentioned roads which would give more specific details on the exact dates of the prohibitions, effects of any temporary traffic management and diversion routes as necessary.
