Eastnor, Herefordshire - Temporary 30mph Speed Restriction for a Mountain Bike Event

Notice of Intention
NOTICE is hereby given that Herefordshire Council, as the highway authority, intend, under its relevant powers, to make the following Order:
A438 from the A449 to Hollybush, Eastnor, Temporary Speed Restriction Order 2026,
to temporarily restrict the speed of vehicles to 30mph on the following road(s): A438 from the A449 to Hollybush. Grid Ref: 372143, 238463 to 374183 to 236883.
The said restriction is required due to safety of motorist access and egress to the Mountain Bike event on or near said roads and the likelihood of danger to the public while the event is live. The said restriction will be in place for approximately 4 days and will come into force on 20th August 2026. However, the restriction may remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months (unless extended with the consent of the Secretary of State).
